Medicinal plants are constantly challenged by different biotic inconveniences, which not only cause yield and economic losses but also affect the quality of products derived from them. Among them, Alternaria pathogens one harmful fungal in medicinal across globe. Therefore, a fast accurate detection method early stage is needed to avoid significant losses. Although traditional methods available detect Alternaria, they more time-consuming costly need good expertise. Nevertheless, numerous biochemical- molecular-based techniques for plant diseases, their efficacy constrained differences accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, dependability, speed addition being unsuitable direct on-field studies. Considering effect on plants, development novel measures required causal species accurately, sensitively, rapidly that can be further applied fields up advancement process strategies. In this regard, nanotechnology employed develop portable biosensors suitable correct pathogenic disease field.
